1. Does the GOOLOO Jump Starter only start vehicles?
The GOOLOO Jump Starter comes with a flashlight function and is not only a device that can start your car but also a portable charger that can quickly charge your mobile devices and laptops on the road.
2. How safe is the GOOLOO Jump Starter?
This unit includes 8 protection features, including over-current protection, overload protection, over-voltage protection, and overcharge protection, making it extremely safe to use.
3. What scenarios can I use the GOOLOO Jump Starter in?
This unit is perfect to jump start a dead car in ice and snow when the battery is undercharging, the car stalls while driving, or in emergencies, for medical rescue, or on road trips.
4. Is the GOOLOO Jump Starter difficult to use?
No. You can jump start your vehicle in three easy steps. You can simply clamp on, connect to the car battery and wait for a solid green light on the clamp, then start your car.
5. What battery does the GOOLOO Jump Starter use?
This unit uses a lightweight lithium polymer battery.
6. Can it jump-start a 6V battery?
No. GOOLOO jump starters can only jump-start 12V battery.
7 Can I use this jump starter on a gel battery？
Yes, as long as it is at 12 Volt.
8. What are the recommended operating and storage temperatures?
The GOOLOO Jump Starter includes a lithium polymer battery built for operating and storage temperatures of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). If the ambient temperature is above 60°C (140°F), the internal cell construction of the lithium polymer battery may be damaged, causing it to swell and become unsafe. Do not store the device in a vehicle parked in hot weather for long periods of time.
9. Why are the green and red light on the jumper cable blinking?
The jumper cable features a smart Over-Start Protection function. If you start the vehicle more than 4 times in 2 minutes, the jumper cable will turn on Over-Start Protection: The green and red light will start to blink and the battery clamps will have no output. When you disconnect the jumper cable plug from the jumper starter, the smart Over-Start Protection will reset.
10. How do I know if this unit is correctly connected to the vehicle?
The indicator on the jumper cable will show a steady green light when the battery clamps are correctly connected to the vehicle battery. If a steady red light comes on and the unit is beeping, the connection needs to be reversed.
11. Can this unit charge other devices while it is being charged?
Yes.
12. Can this unit charge other devices while starting a vehicle?

13. How often should my unit be recharged?

Have an older vehicle that was sitting during major storms and CAA came to boost, and said to leave running for an hour, which my husband didn’t. Ordered this unit and needed boost mode but started immediately and let it run for an hour. Took it for a run for 20 min. And stopped for ten and it started like a charm! This looks like a competitor's jump starter, which puts it in the top 3 of battery boosters. If the battery is of great quality, this charger will be at the top of its class. I am not too interested in using it to charge cell phones, or find my way in the dark.
I have not used it to boost a vehicle yet, as the weather has turned warmer. It is also one of those things you hope you never have to use.
The only thing to complete the checkout is how much capacity the booster uses per vehicle start. I guess You will all have to wait until next winter for me to answer that one.

This is the 4th Gooloo booster I've purchased over the year. I've given them as gifts and recently got another car, so first thing I ordered was the latest version booster.
I've been using them since August 2018 and they've been reliable and always started cars and trucks. From 2L inline 4,to 5.3 V8 Chevy, never an issue.
I like the latest GP4000 because it uses USB C charging, and the case it comes with fits everything nicely and is sturdy. I leave them in my car and charge them 2 or 3 times per year.
If you want more proof, look at Project Farm reviews on YouTube where the video will show you what it's capable of.
I'll probably buy another in the future when I know someone doesn't have one as a gift or when I add another car to the driveway.

I was very skeptical about this battery jumper. After I got it I was reluctant to even trying it for fear it wouldn't work as described. I know that sounds stupid but past experience with other products made me this way. When I did try it I was absolutely blown away with how easy and perfectly it worked. I got so excited that the experience of jumping a battery was fun. I now look for any opportunity to use it. I saw some guys trying to get their car started with jumper cables. They had been struggling for a while. I walked over with my GOOLOO GP4000 and instantly started their car in the awe of everyone. Love this tool.

I bought this because I was tired of having to use jumper cables and needing another vehicle nearby to jump me. I used it a couple of times last year and it saved my bacon.
This year, the battery in my daily croaked, the battery in my winter beater died, and the battery in my wife's classic car (12v converted) also took a dirt nap. The 800 cranking amps easily started a 283 ci V8, a 5.7L V8 Hemi, and a 3.6L V6 multiple times per charge.
I highly recommend getting one of these.

A purchase like this typically starts with a dead battery. My car's battery appeared to be drained (and with an older car, that's easy to do). I needed a jumpstarter backup, FAST, so I ordered this GOOLOO and although it was able to successfully start the battery with the GOOLOO, the charge was very brief. The GOOLOO's basic diagnostics confirmed that the battery was essentially dead. The AAA assist guy confirmed the diagnostics -- DEAD battery.
I replaced the old battery, repacked the GOOLOO in its storage kit and now keep my GOOLOO in my car for any future jump start needs (mine or someone else's). Ready to go!
One of the GOOLOO features I really appreciate is that you don't need LONG connecting cables draped across the car. No more connecting someone else's car battery to your car battery -- just position your jump starter close to your car's battery, attach, charge -- go!
Another good feature is its ability to recharge your mobile devices. When you can't drive around to recharge your phone or laptop, the GOOLOO may be your backup plan.
Tip 1: READ THE AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS for safe connecting and jump starting!
Tip 2: I live in an area of seasonal temperature extremes so I'm mindful to not leave the GooLoo in the extremely hot or cold car full time. In those seasons, take it inside and place it near the door leading out to your car for a quick grab-n-go with your GooLoo.
Tip 3: Set a reminder to check the GooLoo's charge. The re-charge is not very fast, not very slow. It just takes time. My mobile devices have this reminder set for every three months, or go old school and put a reminder on a paper calendar -- whatever reminder system use -- use it to make sure your GOOLOO is always ready to charge.
I'm pleased with the GOOLOO jump starter. It has given me greater peace of mind for my car (and even my mobile gear).

The battery on my truck had died and i had no jumper cables. I had always wanted to try this tool so i ordered it. It arrived within a day and i had a trip to the airport the following day. It came charged so i jump the truck that evening before. Then the day of me leaving for the airport. I had to make an stop before the airpot. So i jumped it again. Then after my trip i jumped it again at the airport. Then i jumped it at the Walmart where i purchased the new battery. So i jumped the old dead battery several times on one charge and it still has 4 out of 4 bars of charge!! I will be buying these as gifts for buddies and as grad gifts. I know probably lame for a grad but they will thank me when they have a dead battery because they do not have to rely on someone else for a jump.

Received the new Gooloo GP4000 today. Unpacked, saw it has 4 of 4 charge bar strength. My truck is a 1997 Ford F250 C/C 4x4 7.3L PSD, and its 6 year old Duralast batteries were to weak to start. Connected the Gooloo GP4000 and truck turned over fast. Started the engine with no problems. The GP4000 was now at 3 of 4 charge bar strength. Charged it up to 4x4 with my PC's GPU usb-c port. It charged to 4x4 in about 20ish minutes. This one test let me know the GP4000 is a beast of a jump-starter. Carefully placed the GP4000 in its convenient carrying case and stored it my truck. I ordered a UGREEN 100W USB C Charger. It should arrive tomorrow. I will store in the same case as the GP4000 for future use.

Used it the first weekend I had it out the box and charged it full. While we were camping I used this to charge 2 cell phones and other electric devices and then used the jumper pack multiple times on different ATVs and even helped a fellow camper jumpstart their car. I bought one of these for my car and I was very pleased with the quality and how simple it is to use. I bought the GooLoo 4000 in early summer of 2023 and haven't really needed it as a jump pack until February 2024 to start my Ram 2500 V10 Magnum. The ignition switch is a bit worn on the truck and it had stayed on and drained the battery dead as a doornail. My GooLoo hadn't been charged since summertime, but it showed that it was still fully charged. I hooked it up to the truck's battery and pressed the boost button. I turned the key on the truck, and the 8.0 V10 fired right up. The GooLoo 4000 does everything I needed it to do and I am 100% satisfied.
